MAT And Communication with Medical Team Members

How does Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) work? Starting with a presentation by JSI Consultant Steve Hanson, an experienced MAT/Treatment specialist, he will discuss the pharmacology of substance use dependency, the chemical impact of substance use on the brain, and the role of MAT in treating substance use disorders. He will explain why MAT is critical in the fight against substance use disorders.   This will be followed by an open question and answer period facilitated by JSI Co-President Brian MacKenzie.
