Summary
Current Issues in the Law is a four-day course presenting cutting-edge topics with distinguished faculty. Topics for this year’s course will focus on the legal fallout one year after Obergefell v. Hodges, the SCOTUS case which legalized same-sex marriage. We look at how the legalization of marijuana is impacting the courts across the nation. Baseball, baseball, baseball – how America’s national past time has and continues to drive changes in the law. You will get a SCOTUS update in addition to a field trip to hear oral arguments at the Supreme Court. Finally, we will review judicial elections and how “dark money” is influencing the state of the judiciary. Join us in Washington, D.C. for this informative and practical analysis of current issues in the law.
