NADCP 22nd Annual Training Conference

This is the world’s largest conference on substance use disorders, mental health disorders and the criminal justice system. The NADCP 22nd Annual Training Conference and the Justice For Vets 4th Annual Vet Court Con will be held simultaneously at the Anaheim Convention Center and the Anaheim Marriott in Anaheim, California.

JSI Founders Peggy Hora, Mary Celeste, and Brian Mackenzie will speak at the NADCP conference in a session entitled: “The Nuts and Bolts of Alcohol and Other Drug Testing in Specialized Treatment Courts.”   

The session is described as: 

Every specialized treatment court professional has to understand the basics of alcohol and other drug testing in order to do a competent job.  This seminar will give you the fundamentals of drug testing as well as the standards for tests – forensic and specialized treatment court related.  It will also demonstrate testimony of witnesses in a probation violation/termination hearing from hearsay objections to standard of proof to manner and demeanor.  The seminar will end with practical tips for professionals.
