Alcohol Testing: Applying Best Practices

JSI Consultants Judge Diane Bull (Ret.) and Helen Harberts, MA, JD along with Pete Andrews, Vice President, Sales at LMG Holdings, will be discussing how alcohol testing is a key factor in ensuring the success of supervised individuals, not only in treatment court but in a variety of supervision circumstances. Conducting effective testing allows the court to gauge an individual’s use, respond swiftly to noncompliance, adjust supervision, and provide treatment services as needed.  This highly interactive workshop is suitable for all team members, particularly for those with daily interaction with participants and testing (supervision officers, judges, attorneys, treatment, peer mentors, law enforcement) and will identify how treatment court best testing practices can be applied to alcohol testing in a variety of supervision settings to improve participant outcomes.

The goal of the training is to help audience participants understand the importance of implementing adult treatment court best practice standards to alcohol testing based on assessed risk and need to improve outcomes of supervised individuals.
