Theresa A. Ewing

Theresa A. Ewing has more than 20 years of developing, optimizing, and administering high-impact trial court services and programs to meet goals and ensure compliance with court policy and procedures as well as state and federal laws.  She is a retired Court Director from the City of  Fort Worth Municipal Court, Fort Worth, Texas. Her prior experience includes serving in Washington State as the Court Administrator for Thurston County District Court for five years, Bremerton Municipal Court for three years and in various positions in North Las Vegas, Nevada with North Las Vegas Municipal Court for 17 years prior to that.

Ms. Ewing has previously served on numerous committees in Nevada, Washington and Texas that promote public and judicial branch improvements through training of judiciary staff and judges; creating opportunities for increased access to court records through the use of technology; and increasing the public and governmental awareness of the independence of the judiciary. She has instructed various classes for court employees throughout the state of Nevada, Arizona, Washington, and Texas over the past 17 years. She is a member of National Association of Court Management; International Association of Court Management; National Association of Judicial Educators (Ret.).

Mrs. Ewing holds a Masters of Judicial Administration from Michigan State University, B.A. from the University of Phoenix and is a Fellow of the Institute for Court Management with the National Center for State Courts and she was the 2018 Distinguished Service Award Recipient from the National Center for State Courts.  Before retiring from Fort Worth, Texas, Theresa was actively involved in the community as a board member for the Tarrant County Food Bank; Graduate of Leadership Fort Worth; and community outreach services through her work in the courts.

She was presented with the “Distinguished Service” award by the National Center for State Courts in 2018 for Excellence in Court Administration.
